The participant agrees to be bound by all the rules and
conditions of the races.
By lodging an entry the participant agrees that

it is a condition of entry that he, she or it releases, holds
harmless and indemnifies the Event Organising Authority and
Hamilton Island Yacht Club., its office bearers, servants, agents
and members and the sponsors of the 2008 50th
International 505 Australian Championships from all liability any
of those persons has to the participant or any crew member on the
participants boat, or to any person claiming through or under any
such person arising from loss or damage howsoever caused, including
negligent act or omission, arising out of or relating to: (i)
participation by the participants boat in a race; (ii) the conduct
or course of the race in any respect including, without limitation,
any act or omission (whether reasonably foreseeable or not) causing
or relating to loss of or damage to any boat or the death or injury
of any person.

participation by the boat and by any crew member in 2008
50th International 505 Australian Championships is
agreed by the Event Organising Authority and Hamilton Island Yacht
Club the basis that participation is entirely at the risk of the
participant and each member of the crew on the boat.
Participants attention is drawn to RSS 4, “The responsibility
for a boat’s decision to participate in a race or to continue
racing is hers alone”. Competitors participate in the regatta
entirely at their own risk. The Evennt Organising Authority
and Hamilton Island Yacht Club do not accept any liability for
material damage or personal injury or death sustained in
conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.

the participant will provide each crew member or proposed crew
member with a copy of this Entry Form including these
Conditions

by lodging an entry, the participant agrees that /she will ensure
that the entered boat is covered by suitable legal third party
liability insurance to AUD$10,000,000.00 and will provide
proof of this to the Event Organising Authority prior to Racing.
